On season 1Finally started season 1, episode 1.

Brothers
On season 1A fun show to wait for every week, but a weak offering from two fine actors. It’s about their lives, but is it really?

Slow Horses
On season 6Every single season is a banger: six beautifully done episodes, every time. Lamb cracking up about the state of transportation is hilarious, and Sid is back.

Small Prophets
On season 1Three episodes in, and I can’t help but love it. The way they show the bond forming between Michael and Kacey is simply beautiful. Although I’m a little worried they don’t have a coffee place other than Pickles. On to episode 4 on Wednesday!

Lanterns
Kyle Chandler is great in it, and the show works mostly because of his charm. I’m also a little biased towards less hero stuff and more character development. The way the show used fear, and the consequences around it, was really something. A great first season. Hopefully there’s a second?

Widow's Bay
A different kind of horror, the kind even Stephen King would be sarcastic about, and a little jealous of.

One of the best sci-fi shows on right now. Episodes 9 and 10 of season 3 were mind-blowing. Counting the days to season 4.

The Devil Wears Prada 2
Good, but more of a money grab, and guessable. A good flight movie, perhaps.
They tied Andy coming back to work for Miranda together well, and showed a kinder, softer side of Miranda and the others. Emily became a soft villain. The billionaire and the owner’s son were meh and didn’t add much to the story, even with good actors playing them. -

The Odyssey
A modern masterpiece.
Matt Damon, the music, and the journey through the myths. Tom and Zendaya don’t work here. -
Toy Story 5
I adore the first four, but a large chunk of this one wasn’t for me.
Perhaps because the plot was mostly easy to figure out. -
Disclosure Day
Why? A dull, uninspired film with a philosophical heart, and that’s all.

Project Hail Mary
Funny, quirky, and memorable for a long time.
Rocky worked his charm, and so did the background music. A great Phil Lord and Chris Miller movie, again. -
Hoppers
A good Pixar movie again.
It had soul, heart, beavers, and humans as beavers. The highlight was Tom the Lizard. I had a blast watching it in a theatre, for the first time in a long while. -

Worth watching in a theatre, if only for the background score.
